Our first day in the snow!!!!
Our first snow day was the most exciting 30 minutes of our little boy's lives! But please understand, the 30 minutes was not how long they lasted outside, but instead was 27 minutes of getting them dressed, + 3 minutes of play time= 30 minutes total ! They were absolutely thrilled at the thought of playing in the snow and making a snowman. Then they went out in the windy cold weather, slid around, figured out the snow was just too fluffy to make anything, and came back in the house. I took Seth inside after about 2 minutes, and 1 minute later, i heard a knock at the door. When i opened the door, Noah said plain-and-simply, "We're done." here's a few pictures i did manage to take;

Precious pics! You all up north must have had a lot more snow than we did. My kids knew better than to even ask to go out that day. They know it's not worth it for me to do the "27 minutes" of bundling up unless there's plenty of snow on the ground to play in!

Haha - the pic of Seth reminds me of Christmas Story ("I can't move my arms!!") Yeah, we didn't get nearly that much snow. My kiddos start begging to go out and make a snowman as soon as they see a few flurries! Maybe we need to move farther "up north" :D
every time my kids would go out in the snow for even 5 minutes, they'd BEG me to fix them hot chocolate the moment they came back in. but those are sweet memories. and i promise it will be WAY more fun when they can dress and undress themselves ENTIRELY alone. great moms, however, do spend those 27 minutes getting their children ready for even 3 minutes in the new snow...
